At the upper portion of this page, Sinatra has written a warm personal inscription in purple ink:

"Hi Carl!

Frank Sinatra"

Reagan had first taken office in 1967 and, following his reelection in 1970, delivered his second gubernatorial inaugural address in Sacramento on January 4, 1971. The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library identifies the surviving recording of the inaugural address and ceremony as having taken place in Sacramento on that date.

The program is additionally accompanied by a Beckett Authentication Services Letter of Authenticity, dated April 10, 2026. Beckett Certification No. AE83609 identifies the piece as a "Frank Sinatra Signed Program," records one signature, and likewise notes the inscription "Hi Carl! Hi Joan!" Beckett states that, following examination and comparison with known exemplars, it is their opinion that the item is authentic.

The presence of independent Letters of Authenticity from both PSA and Beckett provides especially strong third-party documentation for this historically significant Sinatra autograph.
