Title:
Robert Ripley “Believe It or Not!” Signed Note — PSA/DNA Certified Authentic

Description:
An outstanding autographed note from Robert L. Ripley (1890–1949), famed creator of “Ripley’s Believe It or Not!” The note, written in bold black ink on tan stationery, reads:

“With every good wish / of / Ripley / ‘Believe It or Not.’”

Ripley’s distinctive and artistic signature includes his trademark flourish and slogan, capturing the flair and personality that defined his career as a cartoonist, traveler, and cultural icon. The card measures approximately 5" x 3" and is in fine condition, with minimal age toning and excellent contrast. Professionally encapsulated by PSA/DNA and certified as Authentic.

Historical Context:
Robert Ripley rose to fame in the early 20th century as the creator of “Ripley’s Believe It or Not!”, a newspaper feature and later a multimedia franchise that chronicled strange, incredible, and little-known facts from around the world. His syndicated column reached millions, and his insatiable curiosity for the odd and extraordinary made him one of the most recognizable figures in American popular culture. Authentic Ripley autographs are highly sought after, as his untimely death in 1949 and limited public appearances make signed items scarce.

Authentication & Encapsulation:
Encapsulated and certified Authentic by PSA/DNA (Cert. #85626820).

  • Additional Documentation & Provenance: At buyer’s request, Historical Autographs Gallery will include an additional “Historical Autographs Gallery Certificate” signed by our company founder Luke Pascal at no cost.

Closing Appeal:
A superb example of Robert Ripley’s signature, complete with his iconic “Believe It or Not!” inscription — a phrase that became a cornerstone of American popular culture. This bold and well-preserved autograph is a must-have for collectors of entertainment, Americana, and early media history.

Shipping Notice:
