The only other PSA 7 is printed on plain white stock and is considered less desirable than this rare blue variant, which was also sourced and reviewed by our team.
Historical Context:
This ticket granted entry to the historic opening of the Brooklyn Bridge on May 24, 1883—a defining moment in American engineering and urban development. Spanning the East River and connecting Manhattan to Brooklyn, the bridge was the longest suspension bridge in the world at its debut and hailed as a marvel of 19th-century engineering. Designed by John A. Roebling and completed by his son Washington Roebling, the bridge's completion symbolized innovation, resilience, and the industrial prowess of the Gilded Age. The opening day included speeches from President Chester A. Arthur and New York Governor Grover Cleveland and was attended by tens of thousands. Tiffany & Co.'s role in producing the tickets underscores the grandeur and prestige of the event.
